Why this collective blog?

What follows are the reflections of various members of the Body of Christ. Though we may worship in different branches of the Church, we have discovered through dialogue, the oneness for which our Lord prayed in his final prayer among us. (John 17:20-23) So at the outset, we together dedicate what follows to the honor and glory of King Jesus, to whom we renew our surrender each day and from whom, despite our culpable failings, we have received the pearl of great price – His precious and redeeming friendship. With that friendship comes an open invitation to glorify Him together with all the saints and angels by pouring ourselves out in service to others – the “cost of discipleship”. By doing so we enter the dialogue, the purpose for which we were originally created.

We are qualified according to the Apostle Paul “to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12), and so with deep gratitude take our place among the members of the communion of saints.
